Katie Mulvaney Front Office Manager
Katie is originally from Schenectady. She attended SUNY Adirondack for a degree in arts and sciences. She currently lives in Albany with her two sons. Katie started working here in 2008 for a chance to work in the animal care field. But what keeps her at SVH is the caring and dedication the staff shows to each other and the animals that we are lucky enough to be in the lives of. Katie enjoys reading, yoga, attending concerts, and traveling.
Kristen Wilbur Client Relations Specialist
Kristen, originally from Granville, received her bachelor's degree in psychology from SUNY Plattsburgh. She currently lives in Saratoga County with her husband, their young son and daughter, and their dog and cat. Kristen enjoys working at SVH due to the supportive, close-knit, and compassionate people she works with. She enjoys Zumba, gardening, and live music.
Kate Schwartz Client Relations Specialist
A Saratoga Springs native, Kate graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor's in sociology. She lives with her husband and their many pets: four dogs, four cats, one hamster, and one fish. In her free time, she enjoys a variety of activities including paddle-boarding, cycling, skiing, and going on road trips.
Ashley Sherman Client Relations Specialist & Social Media Coordinator
Ashley grew up in the foothills of the Adirondacks. She graduated from SUNY Cobleskill with her bachelor's in animal science and is working on her master’s in pharmacogenomics. She has always been interested in medicine and loves the challenges and new experiences that SVH presents. She likes being a position where she can help further the bond between owners and their animals while helping them live their best lives together. Ashley currently lives in Johnstown with her husband, two dogs, two cats, and one fish. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and doing agility with her Border Collie.
Lillee Parker Client Relations Specialist
Lillee graduated from Empire State College with a bachelor's in psychology. She currently lives in Saratoga. Lillee likes working at SVH because she enjoys helping give the best experience to all, even in difficult situations; and also because she really likes cats! In her free time, she enjoys writing fiction stories, crafting, spoiling her cats, and spending time with her fiancé.
Julia Bracker Client Relations Specialist
A native of Glens Falls, Julia graduated from Nazareth College with a bachelor's in psychology. She currently lives in Hudson Falls with her fiancé, dog, and cat. Julia loves being part of the amazing SVH team that works hard every day to support our clients, the hospital, and each other. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and pets, as well as hiking and traveling.
Jennifer Lumbra Client Relations Specialist
Jennifer is from Binghamton and currently lives in Saratoga County with her husband, two kids, and five pets: three dogs and two cats. Jennifer has always worked with animals in some capacity, between volunteering and working at various shelters and hospitals. She likes the new opportunities that SVH provides, as well as the group of coworkers that really care about what they do. She attended SUNY Oneonta for a degree in history. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and watching her kids’ sporting events.
Lindsey Aird Head Technician
Lindsey graduated with her associate degree in veterinary technology from Penn Foster and her bachelor’s degree in veterinary services management from SUNY Canton. She is currently working on obtaining her certification in animal training and behavior due to an increased interest in behavior and a desire to help foster the human-animal bond. From a young age, Lindsey knew that she wanted to work with animals and has found a second home at SVH due to the close relationships formed with coworkers, pet patients, and owners over the years. Currently, she lives in Moreau with her husband, two dogs, and three cats. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers win.
Jess Famiano Technician
Jess graduated from SUNY Canton with her associate degree in veterinary sciences. She grew up in Saratoga Springs but now resides in Schenectady with her fiancé and their dog. Jess decided she wanted to work with animals at a young age, originally wanting to be a veterinarian. After working as a veterinary assistant for a year, she realized she loved the nursing care and hands-on aspect of the job more than the diagnostic side, so she pursued her veterinary technician degree. Jess values working at SVH due to her coworkers and the close relationships that are built here. In her free time, Jess enjoys snowboarding and bringing her dog to doggy play dates.
Kaitlyn Dyke Technician
Kaitlyn graduated from SUNY Delhi with her associate degree in veterinary sciences. She always knew she wanted to work with animals, but what she loves most is helping young puppies and kittens grow into healthy adult dogs and cats. She loves working at SVH due to the friendly environment and the coworkers that have become like family. Currently, Kaitlyn lives in Schuylerville with her fiancé and their two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys snowmobiling, catching up on some much-needed sleep, and spending time with her family and friends.
Michele Fleischer Technician
Michele graduated from SUNY Delhi with her associate degree in veterinary sciences. She has always been interested in medicine and in animals, so it just made sense to combine the two and work in animal medicine. Currently, she lives in Amsterdam with her daughter, one cat, and one dog. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and camping.
Olivia Nittmann Technician
Olivia just recently moved back to her hometown, Saratoga Springs, from being stationed in Louisiana for 6 years with her husband. There, she worked as a veterinary assistant and went on to earn her degree in veterinary technology. Olivia chose to work in animal care because it has always been her favorite interest. At home, she has one horse, two dogs, and a cat. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, hiking with her dogs, riding her horse, and skiing.
Lindsey DeNooyer Veterinary Assistant
Lindsey graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from the University of Vermont. She is currently preparing to apply to veterinary school and is spending her gap year(s) gaining experience in the field at SVH. Lindsey chose to work in animal care because she loves spending time around animals and is interested in how medicine can positively impact their lives. In her free time, she enjoys boating, skiing, and being around her friends and family.
